Feeding Herself...

Goodness, I didn't realize a month had gone by since I last posted. Debbie pointed out in her email that they had beaten me, and posted a blog on their site before I posted one here. So, here I am, posting a blog.

I'm not sure why I was so afraid of starting Reagan on table foods now that we've done it. I was terrified that she would choke, especially since she STILL doesn't have ANY teeth. But, come to find out, they don't need teeth to chew, and they don't use them until they are 2 or 3 years old. She has also had recent success with her sippy cup, although she still won't drink her formula from it.

We have all been sick for about 2 weeks now. Reagan and Scout started us off...on the same day...
Poor Scout had been getting sick every couple of days, so we took her to the vet. Turns out, she has an ulcer. I think having Reagan has been pretty hard on our sensitive dog. But, after a few days of Pepcid AC, an antibiotic, and a stomach calming medicine (all coated in peanut butter twice a day), she is good as new. We finally got the OK to give Reagan some cold medicine after we determined that she was coughing herself into being sick. Then Jim got sick, and now, I have it, which means, everyone but Scout is sick. :(

In preparation for tomorrow's Super Bowl, we have been teaching Reagan the "SO BIG" response, and also, since it's the same sign, the symbol for TOUCHDOWN!! Of course, she wouldn't do it on camera; maybe we'll try again tomorrow.

Hope all is well!!

Next weigh in was Jan-so what does she weigh? :)

I'm sorry you are all sick. That weather in Colorado has been too cold!
