Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Luckily for me, we had a snow day today. So, I got to stay in with Reagan. Then, once the roads melted, the errands began! I realized as I was getting dressed that Reagan wasn't wearing nearly enough green, because I had forgotten it was St. Patty's Day. So, I put this outfit on her.

Our nanny pointed out that the particular shade of green sort of washes her out, which I agreed with, so she doesn't wear it much. But it sure is cute! And so is she.

Reagan was being especially goofy today. I'm not sure what got into her! Maybe it's because of her Great Great Great Grandpa, William McMorrow on Grandpa Bill's side. He makes Reagan 1/32nd Irish, and everyone loves an Irish Lass. One of her favorite things to do is to sneak (i.e., crawl as fast as she can) into the refrigerator. I'm not sure what her fascination is, but she certainly has one. So, she was being so silly that we didn't stop her since I had my camera handy. She was showing a healthy mixture of healthy (the yogurt)
and recreational (the beer).

And then, after Jim finished his dinner, she decided that she had to have is plate. She snatched it out of his hands, and before we knew what happened, she, well, did this:

I have no idea where she even learned this trick. I won't lie; I have sometimes been known to lick my ice cream bowl, or let the dog do it, but I haven't had ice cream recently enough for Reagan to remember...so I'm stumped.

So...after all of Reagan's tomfoolery, coupled with the trip to REI that I had to find replacement sunglasses (I finally settled on these, *in tortoise brown), that it was only appropriate for a Green Beer. So, I took the *beer that Reagan had tried to steel earlier in the night, added a little food coloring, and there, I had it. After all, I'm not Irish, and now, I'm the only member of my immediate family who is not, so I have a little to make up for on this, the day of the Leprechaun. Goodnight!
