New Camera!

If you haven't ever heard of a website called Woot then I highly recommend it. It is a website that offers electronic equipment and some household items for huge discounts. Granted, sometimes they're refurbished items (like ours), but my philosophy is this: if it works, who cares??? Each day they offer a new deal, and it's available until it's sold out or until the next deal comes on. Thanks to Mikey for turning us on to that one.

(It's rare that we get a picture of Jim looking so happy and directly at the camera in a picture, so I had to include this one.) :)

Our camera is a Kodak Easyshare V1003. It is small, has several options, and is PERFECT for us. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely ADORE my Nikon D80. I mean really, who couldn't? But for vacations, or hikes, or trips to the mountains or Texas, it's a bit much to pack. This camera fits in Jim's pocket or my purse with room to spare. And, I think it takes great pictures...but you be the judge.

Oh, and in my last post, I said that we'd be buying baby gates next month. Since a lot of our time lately is spent doing this, it may need to be sooner.
